1. Who controls the data
Service owner (data controller): EduGuard. Data is processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data” and other legislation.

2. What data is collected
In the app
- Profile: first and last name, role, school, class, phone number, login, profile photo.
- Education data: grades, attendance, homework, class timetable. These are entered by the school and teachers.
- Location and movement history: only if the student has allowed it in the app.
- Screen time (how much time is spent in each app): only if the student has allowed it.
- SOS: location when the button is pressed. If the student has allowed it, also photos from the front and back cameras and the surrounding audio.
- Messages: class chat and “Contact us” messages. If you connect the Telegram bot, your Telegram chat ID.
- Subscription: account ID and subscription period. Bank card details are not stored by EduGuard.
- Technical data: notification token, app version, app error reports.
On the website (eduguard.uz)
- No cookies are used.
- Visits are counted anonymously: which page was opened, country and city, device type (phone or computer), and where the visit came from. IP addresses and personally identifying data are not stored.
- Technical errors on the site (page and error text) are logged so we can fix problems.
3. Why the data is used
- Providing the service: diary, timetable, attendance, grades, chat.
- Safety: showing location to parents and delivering SOS alerts.
- Notifications: in the app and on Telegram.
- Managing subscriptions.
- Fixing errors and improving the service.
Data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
4. The child’s consent
- Location, screen time, and SOS camera and audio work only if the student turns them on in their own app. They can change these settings at any time.
- Parents cannot turn these settings on remotely. The camera and microphone work only when SOS is pressed.
- A minor student’s data is processed with the consent of a parent (legal guardian) and in cooperation with the school.
5. Who sees what

6. Service providers
The following providers are used to run the service. They process data only on behalf of EduGuard and only for these purposes:
- Google Firebase — database, sign-in (authentication), notifications, app error reports.
- Cloudflare — server, website and protection against attacks.
- Telegram — if you connect the bot, messages are delivered via Telegram.
7. Retention
- Profile and education data are kept while the account is active.
- Location history is kept for as long as needed to provide the service.
- When an account is deleted, its related data is deleted (see account deletion).
- Site statistics are stored only as aggregated numbers and are not linked to individuals.
8. Your rights
You have the right to view and correct data about yourself and your child, request its deletion, and withdraw consent. To do so, write to the contacts above or contact your school.
9. Security
- All connections are encrypted (HTTPS).
- Access rules: each user sees only the data they are permitted to see.
- Server keys are stored only on the server, not inside the app.
- Regular security checks are carried out.
10. Changes
If the policy changes, the date on this page is updated. We announce important changes in the app.
